Recipes for Homemade
Facial Moisturizers:
Natural
dry skin moisturizer
- 2 ounces organic olive
oil
- 4 ounces shea
butter
- 2 teaspoons organic
vitamin E oil, 5000 IU
- 1 teaspoon active royal
jelly (You can find this in the refrigerated section of
health food stores)
- 6 drops organic lavender
essential oil (optional)
Combine and heat all the
ingredients on high until creamy. Store in an airtight
container and refrigerate. Royal jelly contains excellent
healing properties and works well in a moisturizer, however
because of the royal jelly active ingredinets only make small
amounts of this moisturizer at a time.
Avacado
moisturizer
1/2 avacodo - mash
2 tablespoons yogurt mix
with avacado
3 tablespoons honey
add an essential oil
(optional)
Pat onto face with sponge,
leave on for twenty minutes and rinse off.
Store in frige for 2 or 3
days.
Moisturizer I
For a moisturizing and
nourishing mask, blend a mashed banana with white cosmetic clay
and apply.
For normal skin, mix 1 cup
yogurt, 1 tablespoon orange juice and 1 tablespoon lemon juice
and apply it on your face. Clean it off after 20
minutes.
For dry skin, use a mixture of
cooked oatmeal and honey; it is a very good moisturize and
cleansing agent
Egg Facial Mask (Smooths and
Moisturizes)
1 egg
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 tbsp honey
Instructions: Beat the egg in
a small bowl. Add the coconut oil and honey slowly, beating
until it's the consistency of mayonnaise. Spoon mixture into a
toilet paper roll, sitting upright in a small bowl. Set in the
freezer overnight. To use, peel away the top of the cardboard
roll and smooth the frozen stick over your face. Leave it on
for 5-10 minutes, then wash off with warm water. Keep the stick
covered with plastic wrap and freeze between uses.
