Remove Stretch Marks from your Skin
Oh, those unsightly stretch marks! Most women will get
stretch marks somewhere on their bodies during their lifetime,
however the greatest occurrence comes after childbirth.
Stretch marks commonly appear on the skin of your breasts,
stomach, thighs or buttocks and typically appear because the
skin has been stretched causing tiny tears in the supporting
layers of the skin.
The degree of stretch mark severity depends on several
things, your genes, ethnicity, the amount of weight you gain
and your skin care habits.
Stretch marks are difficult to get rid of completely but
they do fade in time.
To help speed things up here are a few remedies that women
claim work for them and may be worth a try.
Emu Oil Use pure emu oil, found at
health food stores, to fade and even remove scars and stretch
marks. The secret behind Emu oil is that it penetrates all
layers of the skin and can even help scars that are years
old.
Shea Butter Try using Shea butter. It
can minimize the appearance of stretch marks while softening
and smoothing the skin. When using Shea butter it's important
to use it very day for several months before you will see
results.
Cocoa Butter Massage cocoa butter into
the skin once a day. It's better to use pure cocoa butter. It's
one of the best, 100% natural skin lubricants around. It's
fairly inexpensive compared to many creams or surgery.
Vitamin E and Oils Vitamin E is one great
source. It can help them fade. Stretch marks are difficult to
make go away completely but they can fade considerably. Try the
following mixture of oils:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup aloe vera gel
10 vitamin E caplets - prick & drain into mixture
5 vitamin A caplets - prick & drain into mixture
Mix all of the above together and store in the
refrigerator.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Aloe Mix
equal parts of Olive Oil and pure Aloe. After showering and
just before drying off, apply about 1/2 teaspoon of the mixture
onto your stretch marks. You should begin to notice a
difference in a few weeks. Be sure to use high quality Olive
oil and aloe lotion on them as often as you shower.
The Baby Oil Solution Gynecologists
often recommend plain old baby oil. Rub in baby oil to the
stretch marks after bathing while the skin is still wet.
An
Effective Alternative
If you've tried many of the above and have not found a
solution to getting rid of strech marks, have a look at the
benefits of Strivectin. It was
invented a stretch mark reducer and has proven, for many cases,
to be the most effective remedy available next to surgery.
