Strivectin / Review

What is Strivectin and how does it work?

Strivectin was originally a stretch mark reducer that has turned anti-wrinkle remedy, however, I can't find it to be the miracle wrinkle reducer that it advertises. In fact Strivectin has been known to create breakouts in the skin. Too many people found it expensive and unable to deliver on its promises.

So what's the truth?

Since Strivectin was originally formulated as a stretch mark reducer, I'm inclined to think that it works best on stretch marks. Researchers have noted that 93% of subjects demonstrated a noted improvement in stretch marks.

As far as a wrinkle reducer, Strivectin has reduced facial wrinkles for many, but the disappointing results make me skeptical. People have been known to break out and many also have noted no difference whatsoever. If you would like to try Strivectin, I would recommend experimenting on a small patch of skin to be sure there is no irritation and make sure that whoever you buy it from offers a refund if it doesn't work as expected.

From what I can tell it isn't any better than a daily moisturizer with some very good emollients, water-binding agents, antioxidants, and peptides. So as a moisturizer I think it may work fairly well, however for the price of $135 you can probably do just as well with other reasonably priced products.

How Strivectin SD works:
Strivectin SD increases the glycosaminoglycan synthesis and collagen, which increases skin thickness and firmness. A smoother, younger complexion, with less irritation and faster results — all without expensive (and painful) peels, implants or injections.

Side Effects:
Has been known to cause skin to break out, however it is advertised to have no known side effects.

How to use:
Apply 3 times daily to clean dry skin. Use sparingly as Strivectin SD is a concentrated formula. Massage a small amount into the target area using a circular motion until product is absorbed.

In summary, Strivectin does a much better job at reducing stretch marks than eliminating wrinkles, after all that is what it was originally designed for.  If you are looking to find a remedy for younger looking skin I think you will have much better results using Natrual Advantage, which is what I use and continue to use to this day as an excellent anti-aging remedy ...and it's much cheaper.
