Sun Burn Remedy
The best sunburn advice is to avoid it! Your skin is 20
times more susceptible to skin cancers and melanomas than just
a few years ago. However, if you do get a sunburn here
are a few sun burn remedies that might help bring you some much
needed relief.
Use a cold compress, don't use ice or butter. If you don't
have that, a pack of frozen vegetables will work. Also over the
counter pain relievers may also be helpful. Mild and moderate
cases may be helped by topical corticosteroids such as
hydrocortisone.
A hot shower immediately after mild
sunburn can help you peel
sooner helping you get rid of the discomfort
sooner.
Aveeno oatmeal bath is an excellent
sunburn reliever. Aveeno

. By the way, all Aveeno
products are EXCELLENT for your skin.
Mix 2 teaspoon tomato juice and 4
tablespoon buttermilk and apply on the face. Leave for 1/2
hour, and wash off.
Vitamin E, one of the
antioxidants, can be spread as an ointment on sunburn.
Make a paste of Barley, turmeric and
yogurt in equal proportions. Apply it over
the area of sunburns.
